We met friends this past Sunday night for a burger! Was pleasantly surprised to have live entertainment, Sky Daddy, and he wasn’t so loud that you couldn’t still talk. Burgers were amazing and huge! And how ever they cook their fries is delicious! We had a sweet very attentive server that was very in tune to our needs!! Love the margaritas!
My 2nd visit
Good margaritas
Very slow attention to service, although very friendly
Waited an hour for our meal to arrive, then my steak was Wayover done, sent it back, then 50% of it was gristle. $43 for a 10 ounce gristle ribeye. You could taste the gas it was cooked over. I would've rather bought a grass fed steak And cooked it at home myself for less money
Entertainment was very nice, but very loud in the bar area
I saw one of the service staff take a french fry off of a guest's plate while taking it from the kitchen, and eat it prior to serving.! Lol! I'm sure this probably happens all the time, but in all my life, this is the first time I've actually seen it happen!
I am pragmatic
This was definitely not worth the money!
Have been here a few times and has always been a great experience, But this last time went down the tube the waitress was the worst messed up our order it took so long she probably forgot to put it in, she was a mess like she just rolled out of bed. When the food finally did come, my steak was so tough and undercooked that I just left it, never did get our appetizer we ordered. I'm still undecided if I'm willing to go back even though all of our other experiences were great. Very disappointed!
Server was super friendly but food was awful. Ordered the 10oz ribeye and it was awful. Not even sure it was actually a ribeye but regardless, quality was terrible. Worst steak I’ve ever ordered out - would’ve much preferred to make my own at home for 1/2 the price.
We went here for my husband's birthday dinner with the whole family and it was such a disappointment. His family had been coming here for special occasions for years and everyone was surprised at how awful this experience was. I got the NY strip, it had absolutely no seasoning or flavor. I had to use A1, which for anyone who knows steakhouses, should know that this speaks to how terrible the steak was. No one's steak was seasoned at all. My husband got the bone-in ribeye, it was tiny and also had no flavor. My sister-in-law had to send her steak back because it was not cooked properly, and when they brought another it was just as red if not more red in the middle than the first. We had to repetitively ask for sides and things we ordered, and half the table never got refills. The waiter told my other sister-in-law that they would sing for my husband's birthday, and then no one ever did. The steaks were terribly overpriced for how poorly they tasted. We will never be returning to Dry Gulch.
This place is... cozy, probably a little tight by most standards, only one constructive criticism, my girlfriend's steak came to the table rare, and she asked for medium. Overall, the quality and tenderness of my Ribeye were magnificent however, and I loved the atmosphere...
Went there on a Friday evening and my husband ordered the Prime rib, after 15min server informed us that they were out of Prime rib, place opened at 4pm and we ordered at 545pm, seems like some very poor planning on the part of the kitchen, biggest issue was he ended up ordering the 10oz ribeye and paid $1.95 for loaded potatoe upgrade, he is a executive chef and knows meat cuts, at the best this steak was 8oz if even that, I know they go by pre cooked weight, but this was a thin breakfast steak at best, for $38 you would expect the proper cut and it was over cooked as well, the loaded potatoe had 2 chips of bacon in it and maybe 3 shreds of cheese and a spoon of sour cream, far from a loaded potatoe. We have eaten here in the past and had great meals and experiences. The drinks were great and the atmosphere was fun, but it was either an off night in the kitchen or something has changed within the management and the food quality has suffered.
We had great service and excellent food! Filet was so tender and margarita was perfect!! Wish I would've gotten our servers name so we can ask for her again! But everyone kinda pitched in and they were all very pleasant! We'll be back soon!
